Led by EY, workshop on “IFRS S1 and S2: New standards in the field of sustainable development 2023. Review with recommendations for practical application” will be hold on October 5, 2023.
In June 2023, the International Standards Council for Sustainable Development (ISSB) published the IFRS standards on disclosure of information in the field of sustainable development — IFRS S1 and S2. The new financial reporting standards IFRS S1/S2 require companies to disclose information about the processes of identifying risks in the field of sustainable development and climate, assessing their impact on the financial stability of companies and integrating the identified risks into the business strategy.
During the workshop, speakers will share their expertise on the practical application of standards and answer such questions as:
• How to prepare reports in accordance with the new standards?
• How to evaluate the essential topics of the report?
• How to perform scenario analysis of climate risks and opportunities?
• What indicators will need to be disclosed in the reporting
• What examples of climate risk disclosure with an assessment of the impact on the financial result for business already exist?
• What difficulties will companies face when disclosing information under the new standards?
