AmCham Uzbekistan partnered in the Joint Meeting of the B5+1 Regional Task Forces on E-Commerce & IT and Transport & Logistics, organized by CIPE and held on November 11 at the Courtyard by Marriott in Tashkent.
After the successful C5+1 meeting in Washington, where the Presidents of the Central Asian countries and the President of the United States emphasized the importance of deeper regional collaboration, this joint meeting highlighted the growing role of the private sector in transforming high-level commitments into practical steps that support e-commerce development, IT innovation, and enhanced transport and logistics systems.
The event brought together members of both Regional Task Forces, including business associations, fintech institutions, think tanks, SMEs, and experts from Uzbekistan, Kazakhstan, the Kyrgyz Republic, Tajikistan, Turkmenistan, and the United States, to strengthen regional cooperation and finalize the Regional Business Agenda (RBA).
AmCham Uzbekistan Executive Director Tatyana Bystrushkina delivered the welcome remarks, highlighting AmCham’s commitment to advancing regional connectivity, and private-sector leadership across Central Asia.
Participants worked to align priorities, identify common challenges, and shape actionable solutions for the Regional Business Agenda, which will be presented at the Central Asia–U.S. B5+1 Forum during the B2G Dialogue Platform on February 4–5, 2026, in Bishkek.
