RG Brands is a leading beverages marketer and manufacturer across Central Asia with high shares in tea, water, milk and juice categories in Kazakhstan, Kyrgyzstan, Uzbekistan, and southern Russia. Additionally, RGB is the franchised bottler of PepsiCo and Lipton beverage brands in Kazakhstan and Kyrgyzstan.
The Uzbekistan Business Unit is a separate legal entity and commenced operation at the beginning of 2022, first launching the water brand “Asu” and the juice brand “DaDa L’eto”. In March 2022 we launched our tea brand “Piala”. We are primarily a brand marketing and sales organization of about 200 personnel across 10 cities nationally. Logistics functions are outsourced to our Uzbek business partner Simba.
We believe Uzbekistan’s positive economic future vitally includes it’s welcoming of international corporate citizens that generate employment, provide skills training and assist development of the FMCG industry. A domestic market of this scale will inevitably support building of local production facilities and potentially cross border exporting to nearby territories.
