On October 7, AmCham Uzbekistan welcomed a trade delegation from the U.S. Chamber of Commerce as part of its inaugural business mission to Uzbekistan
The delegation included representatives from 20 leading American companies, including Amazon Project Kuiper, Blue Sky Modeling, Coca-Cola, Filuet SWL, Herbalife, Honeywell Industrial Automation, Illumina, Macro-Advisory, Manay CPA, Mastercard, Meta, Plug and Play Tech Center, The Boeing Company, University of Chicago, DoorDash, and others. The reception with trade mission provided a high-level platform for constructive dialogue, networking, and the development of new partnerships between two countries.
As a key outcome of the visit to Uzbekistan, the Ministry of Digital Technologies of the Republic of Uzbekistan and Amazon Kuiper Commercial Services signed a Memorandum of Understanding (MoU) aimed at advancing the country’s digital infrastructure. The agreement represents an important milestone in expanding access to high-speed broadband across Uzbekistan through Amazon’s low-Earth orbit satellite network, supporting the nation’s broader digital transformation agenda.
