AmCham organized a successful policy dialogue in the sector of Green Economy of Uzbekistan part of National Business Agenda facilitated by CIPE.
The event convened over 40 participants, including main investors in the sector ( ACWA Power, Airproducts), business associations ( Foreign Investors’ Council), international donours ( USAID, ADB), consultants in the ESG sector ( E&Y, PwC) and educators, uzbek enterpreneurs and other interested parties.
Three of four regulators in the sector of Green Economy joined the policy dialogue:
1. Temur Malik Narzikulov, Director Center for Green Economy projects, Ministry of Economy and Finance.
2. Khikmatullo Tillaboev, Advisor to the Chairman, Uzbek Commodity Exchange ( UZEX)
3. Timur Sabitov, Head of Project Management, Ministry of Ecology.
The progress achieved within last few months since development of the NBU in Green Economy is enormous and drives Uzbekistan Green Econony sector.
