AmCham Uzbekistan hosted a reception for new members of AmCham on August 29, 2024, at the U.S. Ambassador to Uzbekistan Jonathan Henick’s residence.
During the event, Ambassador Jonathan Henick introduced the executive office:
– Heather Byrnes, Deputy Chief of Mission
– Mariana Neisuler, Political-Economic Section Chief
– Ian A. Turner, Consular Chief
– Laura Brown, Counselor for Public Affairs
Key points:
– 33 new members joined AmCham during 2023-2024
– 6 of these members joined as Platinum members, the highest membership tier
– Over 70% of the new members are in the voting category
– Approximately 40% are non-residents
The new members include major international IT firms, leading FMCG companies, and global hotel chains.
