AmCham Uzbekistan is pleased to announce the successful launch of the Education Committee, held on September 9 at the AmCham Office.
The meeting was chaired by Lionel Henderson, Vice Rector of Postgraduate Programmes & Internationalization, British Management University, who introduced the Committee’s mission and strategic goals for 2025–2026.
The Committee will focus on three key objectives:
1. Advocacy on education-related issues in Uzbekistan, including drafting white papers.
2. Collaboration and knowledge-sharing among education sector members.
3. Identifying talent gaps expressed by AmCham partners and developing solutions through research and initiatives.
As part of the meeting, members engaged in productive discussions and elected three Co-Chairs:
• Bill Kralovec, Director, Tashkent International School
• Firuza Tatybaeva, Adjunct Professor, Webster University in Tashkent
• Azamat Nurmatov, Dean of Faculty, TEAM University
