Within the framework of the ESG Initiative implemented in partnership among AmCham Uzbekistan, UNGC in Central Asia, E&Y, KPMG, and PwC, we invite you to take part in the 5th ESG workshop on “Gender equality and women’s empowerment” organized by UNGC in Central Asia jointly with UN Women Uzbekistan and Artel Electronics.
The workshop will provide the opportunity to learn both general knowledge and methods of assessing and managing gender equality issues, as well as specific standards, tools, requirements and practical examples.
We also encourage all the participants to familiarize themselves with the “Women’s Empowerment Principles” before the workshop (https://www.weps.org/about ), that will help to gain a deeper understanding of gender equality and women’s autonomy, as well as prepare for more productive discussions at the event.
